Beginning Racer Program (BRP)

SAVE THE DATE !!!!! As part of the new Beginning Racer Program (BRP), the CCA will be hosting the last of five clinics for beginner racers on July 11th, 2015 in... Kernersville, NC. The Beginning Racer Program will focus on a different skill at each clinic....sprinting, cornering, pack skills, etc. The clinics will take place in the morning with races in the afternoon and attendees will earn upgrade points. While men are welcome to attend, our primary focus with this year's BRP clinics will be Women and Juniors. Attendees at this third clinic is where clinic participants will race on the US Collegiate Road National Championship Criterium course in Downtown Asheville. A new women's only winter bike league has been formed in the Upstate of South Carolina. The purpose of the league is to provide an environment in which current female competitive cyclists

Anne Bolyea owner of Diet Cheerwine Womens Racing Team

Her mother died of cancer 8/13.09. Anne has been a huge figure in  keeping womens racing to continue. Her mom was a great inspiration to all, both on and off the road.

If you have any suggestions, please let Robert know. Try to be resonably specific if you can as it helps in the long run. Remember to update your links for the CCA Offcial website to carolinascycling.org. We have setup web forwarding from our old site address.

We are constantly looking to make improvements to this website, from how we manage information dislay to maintenance. Now that the CCA Annual meeting is complete and the base calendar set, we are building the events calendar with many new features. We have all events from that list added. Some of the event info is basic until either the promoter provides it to me (Robert) or I pull it from the USA Cycling website once you start the permit process there. We do ask that you information always include the name and date(s) of your event. For the maps integration, we ask that you include an accurate address to the staging site or parking area for your event(s). Also new, is the ability for us to add some details to your event listing. This should be in plain text format and be reasonable length (i.e. not all the info from your flyer) but maybe some good info that is not on your flyer.
